Want to see CoD4 news on other esport sites?

With the amounts of teams we have in COD4, the amount of changes within teams and the amount of coverage which needs to be done for the upcoming tournaments. Vita Nova need the community to get involved as much as possible in order to give COD4 the media boost and media stability which COD4 deserves.

Currently the scene has 3 major websites supporting the scene which are namely TEK9 Networks, Cadred and Cybergamer. Vita Nova want to expand the amount of sites which are known amongest the scene especially within specfic regions so they get the audience which they deserve.

What are Vita Nova proposing?

We want to be able to unite the media within the COD4 scene, this will be done by representatives from each media site which come forward to be allowed access to the Vita Nova forums in the Media Section. This will allow the news writers to be able to communicate together, gain access to invite preinvite & academy, get the first on all the action and get their site known within the COD4 scene.

How to get involved?

If you are a news writer for a specfic site then feel free to email "contact@thevitanova.org" In the email you must include:

- Title of the email "Media Coverage"
- Name & gaming alias
- Tek9 profile (include if you have one)
- What site you work for?
- Include some of your recent work
- Have you attended any LANs?
- Contact details

If you have any questions then feel free to contact myself on tek9 or pm an op at #Vita-Nova at quakenet.

Lets get together and give COD4 the coverage it deserves!

intresting....

ApexjE says:12:33am 2/10/11:

does the game really need more attention......... really?

tomzki says:1:42am 2/10/11:

@apex, if we want the game to improve in terms of exposure/sponsors then yes

ApexjE says:6:26am 2/10/11:

i mean, it has more than enough of that, how bout giving other games a chance, believe it or not there are other games that have potential (not including mw3 or bf3..)

Hire a new PR man and writer.
Seriously.

extacy says:7:07pm 2/10/11:

won't work, those sites like tek9 cybergamer etc use their media to boost their numbers on the site so advertisements pay more money thus help run the site. why would any of these sites risk losing 100's if not thousands of potential hits on their website to help another after the same goal?

tomzki says:9:06pm 2/10/11:

@apex

durrrrrrr says:12:16am 3/10/11:

@extacy because there not losing hits on their site they are just giving people other sites to go to aswell as thee ones they already visit. Besides more expose for the game means more exposure for your site in the long run.

extacy says:7:47am 3/10/11:

@ durrrrr, if someone wanted to go to a website to found out about australian tournments results and say this vita nova site had them all listed.. why would they bother coming to cybergamer? thus cybergamer lose hits... it's im practical and i highly doubt cg will back it enough to get it off the ground if it in turn loses them business.

obez says:11:46am 3/10/11:

Agree with extacy, it seems very pointless. Unless a portion of the article is listed on thevitanova and then when you click read more it redirects to CG for the full details. Therefore CG is still getting its hit and thevitanova is still a place where multiple websites can have their news listed without them losing out. Otherwise it's just not really a good option for any of the major gaming websites.

Frostbite~ says:10:35am 4/10/11:

seems like an offer a large sum of people are going to refuse, just for the fact that cybergamer and the other websites don't get anything great out of it and as fair as it is, cybergamer is growing and doesn't need this or any cod 4 media

Xine says:1:20pm 4/10/11:

mmmmm

Prawny says:1:49pm 4/10/11:

BUT ITS FOR THE SAKE OF COD4!.......

Bench says:4:23pm 11/10/11:

I continue to see this time and time again, "we're going to unite a community by creating a new site", it never happens. CG wouldn't want to lose hits to any site, regardless of intentions. Unless you're offering something uniquely new the cod4 players alone want and need, then it won't go far.
